Yeah! I have tons of different ideas on the matter (Padma who pursues a career as a librarian/antique bookshop owner for instance), but I just like the trope meeting-in-school for the different possibilities it offers.
I try not to default to conventional standards of beauty but it's not easy, innit? I always imagined Daphne as tall and slender or average built, but some other characters are curvy in my book (i.e. Rose Weasley). It's not often that other people's headcanons are a no-go for me, though, even on my favourite characters.
